Primeiro dia de workshop em Belém (25/4)

Assim como no primeiro dia de workshop em Manaus, pedimos aos participantes de Belém que se apresentassem mostrando o objeto com o qual mais se identificam. Tivemos muitas surpresas, pois todos trouxeram objetos significativos e interessantes.

Destacaremos aqui alguns dos objetos. A Jonise Nunes, por exemplo, se identifica com seus brincos: são pequenas flores verdadeiras que ela usa e troca todos os dias, ou até no meio do dia, pois com o calor do corpo as flores vão perecendo.

Dois participantes trouxeram cuias. Glauber da Silva trouxe uma mini-cuia que ele sempre carrega consigo, para dispensar os copos descartáveis. Já a Lídia Abrahim  trouxe uma cuia grande, que ela usa para preparar banhos de sais e ervas.

Um objeto bastante inusitado foi a casa de caba, que mais parece uma escultura, trazida pela Gilda Trindade. A caba é um tipo de marimbondo e este é seu ninho. Ficamos todos admirados, pois é, de fato, um perfeito objeto natural.

Just as in the first day of workshop in Manaus, we asked the participants in Belém to present themselves by bringing and showing the group an object with which they feel identified. We had a lot of surprises because all the participants brought meaningful and interesting objects.

Here we will give a small sample of these objects. Jonise Nunes, for example, feels identified with her earrings: she uses small real flowers, and she changes them everyday, or even in the middle of the day, since the heat of her body makes the flowers perish.

Two participants brought cuias (half fruit skin, used as a bowl). Glauber da Silva brought a mini-cuia that he always carries with himself in order not to use plastic cups. Lídia Abrahim brought a big cuia, which she uses to prepare the herbs for a bath.

A very unexpected object was the “casa de caba” (“wasp’s house”), that looks more like an sculpture, brought by Gilda Trindade. Caba is a kind of wasp and this is its vespiary. We were all astonished with the look of this perfect natural object.
