Aproveitamos o dia de hoje para conhecer com mais tranquilidade o mercado do Ver-o-Peso. Visitamos também o Mangal das Garças, um parque onde pudemos relaxar e fazer um pequeno balanço da viagem e do projeto como um todo até o fim desta etapa. Houveram vários desafios, estamos aprendendo muito, o experimento continua e o saldo é muito positivo: os dias na Amazônia foram seguidos de descobertas marcantes, emocionantes. É difícil ir embora!

As malas estão prontas. Nosso diário de viagem pára por aqui. Continuaremos, sem regularidade, postando as novidades do projeto, seus desdobramentos. Vida longa aos Objetos da Floresta!

(não conseguimos decidir o número 1)

We used our day to see with more time the market Ver-o-Peso. We also visited the Mangal das Garças, a park where we could relax and make a small balance of the trip and the whole project till the end of the present stage. There have been many challenges, we have been learning a lot, the experiment goes on and till now he results are very positive: the Amazon days were full of remarkable, exciting discoveries. Its hard to leave!

1. The strong contact with nature at Negro River/ Anavilhanas Park

1. Intense contact with local people and the landscape at FLONA Tapajós

(we couldn’t decide number 1)

3. The unique experience of travelling in a local boat from Manaus to Santarém

4. The hiper-fruits: tucumã (x-caboclinho) and pupunha (with coffee).

5. Soure, at Marajó island: buffalos in the streets, huge mangue, style of the houses, etc

 

Cum laude: the beauty of the vitória-régia and the diversity and rarity of the objects at the shop of Alter do Chão.
