Se você acompanha “Objetos da Floresta” no Facebook já deve estar sentindo um clima de novidade. Agora vai saber o por quê…

Estamos a todo vapor preparando a primeira Exposição dos “Objetos da Floresta”! Finalmente iremos mostrar os objetos que foram coletados durante a expedição amazônica, no ano passado. Essa exposição inédita acontecerá em RECIFE, apresentada pela Caixa Cultural de 10/10 a 24/11 em seu belo prédio histórico em frente ao incrível Marco Zero da cidade!!!

Logo após o lançamento da exposição, que será dia 10 de outubro (sintam-se convidados) , acontecerá a “Oficina Objetos da Floresta”, nos dias 11, 12 e 13/10. As inscrições estão abertas e vão até dia 5/10, mais informações aqui. Tanto a exposição quanto a oficina serão gratuitas, o patrocínio é da Caixa e do Governo Federal.

Quem conhece sabe que Recife é uma cidade especial, cheia de cultura. Esperamos que o projeto consiga levantar um debate consistente no mundo do design e das artes em geral, e que o público visite, comente e contribua.  Nas próximas semanas postaremos mais detalhes, fotos do making of e depois dos resultados. If you follow “Objetos da Floresta” on Facebook you might have noticed a feeling of novelty. Now you will know why is it…

We are in a rush preparing the first Exhibition of the “Objects of the Forest”! Finally we will show the objects that were collected during the Amazonian expedition last year. This exhibition will happen in Recife, presented by Caixa Cultural from 10/10 to 24/11 in its beautiful historical building by the incredible “Marco Zero” of the city!!!

Just after the launch of the exhibition, which will be on October 10th (feel invited) , will happen the workshop “Objects of the Forest”, on 11, 12 and 13/10. Registration is open and lasts till 5/10, check it here for more information. Both exhibition and workshop are for free, the sponsors are Caixa and the Government of Brazil.

Who knows Recife also knows it is a very special city, full of culture. We hope that the project can rise a consistent debate in the design world and among all arts, and that the public visit it, comment and contribute to it. In the following weeks, we will post more details, making of photos and later on, the results. Let’s go to Recife? And to the Amazon!
